The Letters Faculty at the University of Bucharest is organizing between July 22 – August 4 several summer classes in Romanian language, culture and civilization.

Over 30 participants are expected to attend this 53rd edition of the summer classes. They are coming from 19 countries, including: Belgium, Bulgaria, China, South Korea, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Holland, Indonesia, Israel, Italy, Japan, Malta, Serbia, Spain, Switzerland, United Arab Emirates, United States and Venezuela.

Those attending the classes will be studying phonetics, morphology, syntax, and the functional styles of Romanian language. They will be attending workshops and study trips designed to help them understand Romanian culture and traditions. Classes are delivered by professors of the University of  Bucharest.

The program of the classes includes visits to the Carol I Central University Library, the Mogoșoaia Palace, The Village Museum, the National Library of Romania, field trips to Sinaia, Brasov, the wine region of the Prahova valley, attending theater and film shows and concerts.
